So someone I know, went to a COVID clinic because she was having trouble breathing. They gave her an xray and a prescription for antibiotics, but did not test her for COVID and sent her home because she did not have enough risk factors
no travel, no contact with another positive-tested person. I am gobsmacked that they did not test her. Every single person who presents with anything even remotely similar to COVID should be tested. Now this person still does not know if she has it. She has been isolating alone
for more than a week, and has not been able to see her family. If she knew she had it then she could continue to stay alone but if she didn't, then she could at least be with her family. On top of this, when she gets well, she will still not know if she had it or not. There is so
much wrong with this. Good grief, I thought Ontario was upping testing? This is just plain stupidity to me.
