If a president were having a heart attack, would we say, “Wait for the 25th Amendment to give him medicine.” No! We are mandated to treat all emergencies, and we MUST treat. Why should it be different for mental health? An emergency is an emergency.

And since the Cabinet and the Congress—and maybe even the president’s personal physician—seem to be having such a hard time identifying severe mental symptoms, we can help provide data that could help with the 25th Amendment!

So let us go first, if they are having such a difficult time taking the initiative. The worst that can happen is that we are wrong, and what would they have to lose? (if the president said of hydroxychloroquine, “What do you have to lose?” a simple exam is MUCH less harmful!).
