There is so much wrong packed into a short little tweet that to unpack it is gong to take 10-20 tweets. At the end of which the response is the same tweet over again 2/

So, shall we do a little unpacking?First,consent:we can talk about how animals can consent, say yes or no obviously. The fact that no one cares about consent until they talk to a zoosexual. Never considering what that means if they do in fact believe to how they treat animals. 3/

This always leads to the animals are “lesser and dumb” stuff which I hardly even want to dignify. 4/

How about the first half of that first sentence, “different from other sexualities”, how so? Rape is common in both the straight and LGB world. We should castigate abusers. Me being here means I firmly believe I am not raping, maybe engage a little with that and not assume? /5

Fhew, already five and I’ve presented no evidence or real arguement, just unpacked some thoughts. On to urges! This is a lovely little sentence, implying an othering of zoophiles from society and that urges are somehow evil and uncontrollable. 6/

If you have an urge to have sex with a person, do you go out and rape them? No? How do you control yourself since you imply urges are uncontrollable? Yeah, works that way for me too. You have just as many urges as me(probably more)! 7/

If my urges are so overwhelming, why did I wait until 22 to lose my virginity to a lovely mare? You envision me raping goats, and puppies and children all through my teens and that just doesn’t happen. Urges,I hate the word as it is used on twitter, its so... fundie Christian. 8/

Which urges me to talk about the level of fundie gay bashing you’ve absorbed. It is to the point you literally agree with them about these urges, you use their terminology and arguments. They’ve hated you so long you nod and say maybe they have a point, but I’m a good person. 9/

They’ll have you back to missionary and only married bigender couples allowed to have sex. Of course, THAT you’ll fight against because it personally effects you. Sexual rights are human rights, for all! 10/

Ahhh, the always favorite “get help”. Implying sexuality can be changed, we’re diseased, out of our minds. It’s another of those lovely little phrases you like to use to dehumanize. Many of us have, and you don’t like our answers, but you were never listening to begin with. 11/

At this point it would be good to point out,when the inevitable “think of the animals” call comes that only part of the first sentence had anything to do with theoretically helping animals and would apply to any “use” of an animal including sex. (I hate saying use but society)12/

Anyhow, “Get help” also implies, be hidden, be hidden away, get locked up, etc. The worst thing for an anti is for a zoosexual to stand up, and “be proud” to just be themselves. That is the real message I see over and over again on twitter. Stay silent and we’ll tolerate you. 13/

“It isn’t normal” Meh, very little is, and as a statement of fact it is true. The “cool thing” about this is that it is part of what leads us to fascist dogma of eugenics. I won’t say too much about what is normal because it ALWAYS bring out the Nazis. 14/

So, 16 tweets and I only unpacked what was said, didn’t even really engage, argue and provide evidence. This is why twitter is so toxic to rational discussion. The worst part of it is that the questions I asked should have stirred thinking..16/
