OK, I have a wild story to share about online dating in the age of social distancing: My best friend in Dallas was texting with this guy for a month now. He asked her to do a FaceTime drinks date last night. He cancels 20 min prior because he "hates being in front of the camera."

(It was his idea.)

She's immediately suspicious, thinking she might have been catfished. But she's googled him and seen his college soccer profile and such. It's definitely him.

Turns out, it was definitely actually him. No catfish.

He just had a wife.

That's why he couldn't FaceTime.
