We all want to know the latest young stars.
This is a combined League One and League Two XI of players currently aged 21-and-under.
Call it my future prospects team if you will.

1: Steven Benda ( @Official_STFC)
Simply put, it was a straight toss-up here between the #STFC stopper and Crewe’s Will Jääskeläinen, but I’ve gone with the Swansea City loanee.
Benda has been the Robins number one since October and has been a reliable presence ever since.
2: Sam McCallum ( @Coventry_City)
He’s playing out of position at right-back here, but 19-year-old McCallum simply has to be part of this team.
The #PUSB wing-back has 2 goals and an assist in League One this season, and has already secured a move to Norwich City.
3: Harry Pickering ( @crewealexfc)
Approaching 100 appearances for his hometown club, it’s hard to believe that Harry Pickering is still only 21.
The left-back is yet another promising player coming out of the #CreweAlex academy and has 3 League goals this season.
4: Harry Souttar ( @ftfc)
For one thing, the 21-year-old is a star #ftfc defender.
But the most impressive part about him is his International record, 4 goals in 2 caps for the Australia National Team.
You’ll struggle to find a better goals-to-games ratio out there.
5: Jacob Greaves ( @CTFCofficial)
No team in the whole EFL has conceded fewer League goals than #ctfc’s total of 27, and 19-year-old Greaves has played a big part in that.
On loan from Hull City, Greaves has benefited from the likes of Raglan, Tozer and Boyle around him.
6: Callum O’Hare ( @Coventry_City)
If you ever saw O’Hare at Carlisle last year, you knew this kid was something special, and he’s now showing it even more at #PUSB.
21-years-old and on loan from Aston Villa, O’Hare has 3 goals and 3 assists in League One this season.
7: Dennis Politic ( @OfficialBWFC)
The shining light in what’s been a really dark season for #BWFC.
Born in Romania, 20-year-old Politic has scored 3 times for Bolton this season and regularly looks their biggest threat.
Special mention also to Belgian Thibaud Verlinden.
8: Kwame Poku ( @ColU_Official)
I can’t seem to go a week without the 18-year-old’s name being mentioned somewhere.
Completely unknown 12 months ago, Poku is an emerging star at #ColU who has so far scored 5 times in League Two.
He plays like he’s been in the game for years.
9: Luke Jephcott ( @Only1Argyle)
Right, be honest. How many of you knew who Luke Jephcott was in 2019?
Since coming back from a loan spell at Truro City, the 20-year-old has broken into the #pafc frontline and scored 7 League Two goals.
Could well be the story of the season here.
10: Marcus Forss ( @AFCWimbledon)
Forss has not been at #afcw since mid-January, but you need to understand just how good the 20-year-old Fin was in the first half of the season.
His tally of 11 goals is still the highest by a player under-21 in the division.
11: Brandon Thomas-Asante ( @SalfordCityFC)
And finally, a player I really like.
Thomas-Asante is 21 and shining alongside #WeAreSalford team mates who are far more experienced than him.
BTA has 6 goals in League Two so far.
