Romelu Lukaku spoke with Adriano yesterday.

"When I was a kid, there was no TV at home. When I'd go to my uncle's house, I always checked YouTube and watch what you did in each game. My parents had no money, I had to wait until Saturday or Sunday to watch what you did."
In response, Adriano says "Those are the things that are worth it, look at where you are now. These things make you stronger, they turn a boy into a man.

Today you have the opportunity to help all your family, and these are the things that are the most important."
Lukaku: “You were my childhood idol. Together, we would’ve scored 70 goals. I watched all of your goals because in Italy, there was no other club than Inter for me.

After my time in England, it was important to be in a club that helped me a lot. Here, my family are comfortable.”
Adriano: “I promise to come see you as soon as possible in Appiano Gentile.

You are a great player, you already know that. Now you have taken my spot, I am happy for you and Inter.

Milan is a marvelous city, the fans are always together with us when we need them to be.”
RL: “Do you remember when you joined Inter?”

A: “Yes, I was nervous, I didn’t know the environment. It was a dream that happened. The fans welcomed me, I first looked at them, then the ball.”

RL: “The best game you’ve played in?”

A: “The Milan derby, it’s always spectacular.”
RL: "Who was your most important coach?"

A: "Prandelli helped me a lot at Parma. At Inter, Mancini and Mourinho were very important. I was lucky in that sense."
