Making my Sayaka Miki cosplay

This is legit gonna be just a basic sword (I’m not making the clothes) so there are plenty of other tutorials that will be a lot more helpful than this thread I just like to post what I do

I first made a pattern for the sword and cut it out of foam, I cut out two small pieces of foam to bulk up the handle a little bit, then I dremeled a grove into the centre of the main sword pieces for a bamboo rod to sit in (this will make it sturdy!) then I hot glued everything!
