1/ I was curious how Series A VCs across top tier funds are thinking about A rounds. So created a very short, imperfect survey for 75 senior GPs I know personally to get a sense. 36 responded & I wanted to share results in case it helps guide early-stage founders & investors:

2/ Is there a minimum revenue threshold to begin an A round discussion? (I should note a few emailed me back to point out $0 revenue ok too & common.)

3/ How many weeks of data & growth would they want to see before the A pitch?

4/ For non-momentum Series A’s driven more by hope, belief, team, vision etc, what are the post-money valuations folks are comfortable with?

5/ This is a very small sample tho drawn from very top GPs. Yes, I could’ve asked more (and better) questions but I wanted to make it easy & quick. Thanks to the GPs who responded & I hope this helps founders our there. /end
