So I found this bird yesterday in the rain unable to fly because he was still learning and got water logged. So I took him in, got him dry/warm & released him when it stopped raining.

His parents noticed him immediately & resumed teaching him to fly.

However... Now he's back.
I woke up this morning to squawking on my porch and there he was lmfao when I opened the door he flew inside and gave me a heart attack.

He was a little better at flying this time.
So I did what anyone would do- I brushed him with a tiny brush and bundled him in a towel while taking a bunch of pictures for my mom.

I then made sure it was safe outside and put him back outside, again. Lol this time he flew into a tree and his parents were right there.
Just in case anyone is wondering-

1) I washed my hands after handling the bird each time

2) I did not try to feed it or give it water

3) Normally if you see a fledgling bird you should leave it alone but this one was flopping around in a puddle lol

4) birds are cute
This is him the day yesterday after I brought him in to dry him off. His parents were tiny but I have no idea what kind of bird he is lol so if you know, I'd love to know! ❀
I asked if he could open his eyes in this video because I was worried my bf would think he was dead with how relaxed he was LOL
