Good morning, colleagues. Let& #39;s play a game. We& #39;ll call it the "Can LPB Be Outraged?" Game.

Rules: You tell me you are in a zoom class with each of the following students.

#lawtwitter
Student #1: Forgets he is on zoom and accidentally picks his nose. Can I be outraged?

My answer: No. I should feel compassion for the student and never mention it again. And I& #39;d be upset if a student lacked compassion and reported it to @atlblog
Student #2: Starts to put on his KKK robe of ignorance during the zoom class. He& #39;s going to a rally afterward, you see.

My answer: I can be completely outraged. He has made many (and hopefully ALL) of the other students uncomfortable. Moreover, he knows it.
Student #3: Takes their zoom meeting into the restroom with them.

My answer: I cannot be outraged. Again, The prof and the other students should show compassion.
Student #4: Rolls their eyes every time another student talks.

My answer: The prof is not going to like that, but it& #39;s very hard to control those kinds of responses unless you& #39;ve trained. I& #39;ve seen colleagues do it on faculty meetings. You know, when I talk.
