Why don’t I believe time heals all wounds?

We were caring for an Alzheimer. After decades-long second marriage, he was *swimming* in the memory of walking in on (!) first wife having sex with the man who would become her second husband.
(Now estranged).
No, I don’t think it’s just me. Painful or angry memories take up a large part of your day? Spend time yelling at people who aren’t there?

This is the real reason work is great: thought avoidance.
A book about how it feels to Alzheimer, which was recommended to me: _Living in the daytime labyrinth_. Turn a corner, you’re back to the same old thought-monster again.

Which makes Alzheimer just sound like normal life.
In other news: break it off now, coward. Unless you think giving your boring husband a lifetime of nightmares is fair.
