1/4 #FridayLidar Oddities. Occasionally when scanning areas with #Lidar something crops up that makes you stop and think. Here 3 perfect circles on open farmland with odd ridges round some (and a #Roman road to the west)
2/4 #FridayLidar The first (top) is simply an 80 diameter ring in a field (Those are sheep), with a single tree to the east. (The Lidar is 2017, Google Earth image is 2000), The second (lower left) is a perfectly round wood.

3/4 #FridayLidar The third is a small ring, on a hill with striations going down the hill. The Lidar indicating 'activity' within this ring. The 1913 map indicates that all 3 were woods! So 1st is a cleared wood (wall leaving a ring)
