(1) Since January of 2019, I have come to know & work closely with @ToddMcMurtry as we battle major members of mainstream media to achieve justice for Nicholas Sandmann, a young boy who was falsely accused.

(2) Without any reservations whatsoever, I support Todd’s efforts to serve his community as a member of Congress. I believe his efforts will be successful & he will be a major influence in the House of Representatives. Todd will be an influence for conservative values & good.

(3) Todd & I have had many discussions about our support for our President @realDonaldTrump. We both fully support the President & his efforts to make and keep America great.

(4) I am aware that Todd’s Republican opponent has sought to gain favor with the President while impugning Todd by spending money on campaign ads to highlight years ago comments by Todd that were critical of @realDonaldTrump. That was then & now is now.

(5) We are all imperfect & we all make mistakes. We also all have right to change our minds. @ToddMcMurtry supports our President now wholeheartedly. His feelings about his support of the President were made known to me before he decided to run for Congress. I urged Todd to run.

(6) I respect a person who can acknowledge prior mistakes & learn from them. I count myself as one of those people as I am painfully aware of my prior mistakes & sins. I am blessed by grace & forgiveness. We all are.

(7) Todd did not ask me to post this Tweet or express my feelings about him. I am doing so because I believe it is the right thing to do. Kentucky & our country need good people in Congress. Todd is a good man. I support him. I hope many others will also support him. Thanks.
