ON can’t figure out how to reprogram their computerized billing system to allow for billing of tele consults.

they established the billing code 3-4 w ago but are now telling us we can’t bill until May. because the computers don’t know how to process it.

but after years of cutting fees to docs in Ontario: many don’t have this cushion.

and many docs don’t qualify for the federal aid package.

they need to be paid. on time.

so that we can continue to pay our staff, business expenses and care for patients.
