1/1 Ok. A lot to digest here.
Thoughts.
- Arm strength and accuracy are evident despite missing on the out route.
- Tua is too much of an arm thrower in this video. Stiff lower half. I want to see more fluidity in his hips and more active feet.
-Pocket movement was impressive. https://twitter.com/mortreport/status/1248610082708848646
2/2 Tua did a good job of flipping his hips on the turn and squaring up.
- He pressed the edge, kept his eyes down field and threw the receiver open.
- The post snap movements were fine. The token fake was good and Tua showed good snap off the fake.
- Lower half still stiff.
3/3- Tua over threw the slant. You can tell that he is “rusty” for lack of a better term. His timing is off.
- Tua is still worthy of a top 10 pick but you can see watching this workout that he needs more on field time to work through the post surgery stiffness in his lower half
