Good Afternoon, guys. Rivers State Government's decision to relax the restriction of movement in order to allow for 2 days religious activities in the state on my mind.
Even though I would be on Wish 99.5 FM today from 10am to share my thoughts on this /1

here is a chance to quickly take a peep into my mind regarding what I think before then.

Firstly, I am a christian and attend a church (House on the Rock) where we are rightly and thoroughly fed of the word of GOD and at the same time charged to be like the berean christians. /2

The decision, however, has raised a lot of questions on my mind even as a christian who should be emotionally excited that the restrictions have been relaxed for the church to worship.
Do we as a people really believe that there is truly the existence of this COVID-19 disease /3

in our country?

Does the government of Nigeria, including that of our beloved Rivers State, believe that there is COVID-19 in Nigeria and in the state?

Are religious activities now more beneficial to us, as individuals and a society, than economic and educational activities? /4

Assuming we even agree that religious activities are more beneficial,was there ever a ban preventing us as a people from worshipping whatever GOD we believed in in the period that this restriction order was fully operational or the GOD that we worship is only better worshipped /5

when we gather in huge numbers in a place at the same time?
Is our GOD no longer a spirit that requires that we worship Him in spirit and in truth, and even in 'season' and out of 'season'?Is He limited by space and time?
Have these Governors, including that of our beloved /6

state, had a meeting with the COVID-19 to cease fire and operate not until after the Jumat service on Friday and Easter celebrations on Sunday? Or, Is it possible that this COVID-19 is on suspension in the period these religious activities would be going on? /7

Do these Governors know something that we all do not know that makes them so confident that the COVID-19, if truly present in the country, would respect their order and be 'still' with its pang and bite in the period?

Is there a well-thought-out operational model easy to /8

understand and implement that has been developed for the religious houses to adopt and implement across board in the period of holding these services?

What truly would be the essence of coming back to the restriction order after this relaxation to permit the congregating of /9

people for two days?
Do these political and religious leaders truly love us as to risk our lives and truly allow the crowd come to church against the reality of the imminent threat facing humanity in COVID-19 or they love mammon more and what coming to church does to their ego/10

and political dynasty?
You shall know the Truth and it shall set you free.
We indeed desire to have them, yes the political and religious leaders, sincerely ask themselves these questions before going ahead to encourage this possible latent anarchy. /11

I am a christian, I love Jesus and all He represents. I am not showing fear, just asking sincere questions.
