Today I'm launching an initiative I've been talking about for some time: The New Yorker Articles Book Club.

If you're not a subscriber, you may not be aware that the New Yorker publishes between two and seventeen issues a week. It also reproduces in captivity: two issues...
left in proximity will quickly produce a third.

And like many highly literate and supposedly well-read people, my brain is currently too rotted to finish any real book. But reading some long articles, I think, might get it back into shape. Like the 463,000 unread articles...
in these old New Yorkers.

To participate, all you have to do is read any article from the New Yorker and list its title in this thread. Ideally you'd provide a little review but it's not required. #newyorkerbackissuebookclub
