I’m so upset about how some of our minority #NHS workers are being treated. My dad has been risking his life on the frontline of #COVID19 & he’s being verbally & physically ABUSED by racist patients.

Patients & their family members are being PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE to him & other minority workers because they should “go back to their country” and because they “want a white doctor or nurse who they trust”

I’ve never been so disgusted in my life. He can’t defend himself and he obviously can’t refuse them treatment, but why is @NHSEngland not protecting our workers?
#NHSclap in the evening but tomorrow you’ll go in to abuse the same workers.

My father is now seriously sick himself after weeks of breaking his back, but he can’t even get tested and he’s being told to get back to work as soon as his fever reduces even if he’s still coughing??? #NHSworkers deserve so much more than this.

As if the reason he’s now sick isn’t because we was never given adequate PPE and was still expected to treat #COVID19 positive patients.
