Central govt has directed State govts to not to directly procure PPEs, Masks & other necessities to fight #Covid19 outbreak.

I strongly condemn this decision which is against the federal structure & decentralised system of governance.

Central govt is trying to assume Supreme Power during this crisis & dictating the States.

There is long history of Central govt collecting resources & unequally redistributing the same depriving Karnataka its due share.

We don't want similar thing happening again.

States cannot wait till Central govt sends the supplies. Critical time will be lost as it affects timely interventions & the whole system gets jeopardized.

Both Central & State govts should work in tandem & fight the cause.
