are you ashamed of them being kpop or what bc i rly cant explain why yall have this extreme obsession of saying btspop,,, even yoongi himself said kpop is an /industry/, not only about the music but also about the makeup, choreography, the performances and so much more

so then why do you not want them to be kpop so BAD ??? whose narrative do you want to fit ???? who do you want to please by saing "theyre not kpop, theyre btspop" ???????

like yeah they are my kpop boys and what about it ?? why is it so bad ??? i just think yall should be proud of them for breaking through against all of those prejudices about kpop and making it big in the WORLD, they came from nothing and now theyre on top of the world (as kpop)

ALSO im gonna say it, i think yall say they are btspop bc of embarrassment towards admitting they are kpop, why ?? a clear example is when a local asks the name of a song in a video and oh! it happens to be from bts,, sadly the local goes "oh i dont listen to/hate kpop"

thats when yall go rampant crazy and start "oh no, they are not kpop they are btspop " STOP !!!!!!!! yall crossed the line and that is blatantly xenophobic !!!!!!!!!! if the local says he doesnt listen to kpop bc its sht or whatever yall should be proud as hell and say

"well its sad that even tho you hate kpop so much, bts, a kpop act, are topping all of the charts:(" EMBRACE the fact that theyre kpop and /korean/ dont pretend their roots are nonexistent

lets be honest, bts are the most influential artists rn yall should be proud of saying "yeah they are a kpop group who started from nothing and now theyre making an impact on the world" hell yeah thats the attitude and way better than saying

"yeah im xenophobic thats why i dont want them to be kpop and also bc i want to please westerners so thats why i go around saying they are btspop" thats not sexy thats just a turn off

like yeah you should have your ami ego over the moon bc we are talking about bts rn but that doesnt give you the right to change the fact they are kpop,,, as ive been saying instead of trying to deny it whats wrong with embracing it ????
