Bodies being layered on top of each other in mass graves in NYC. This is straight out of The Plague. https://twitter.com/cbsnews/status/1248596672776671232
For context:

“Normally, about 25 bodies a week are interred on the island, mostly for people whose families can't afford a funeral, or who go unclaimed by relatives. In recent days operations have increased from 1 day a week to 5 days a week, with around 24 burials each day”
Its strange how we look for ways to normalize this. Mass graves dug by the incarcerated for the indigent in the richest city in the richest country are disturbing any time. Mass graves being dug for indigents at 5x the pace during pandemic are alarming.

Also, a large enough quantitative difference does become a qualitative difference. Dumping these bodies day in and day out at 5x the rate should draw our attention.
