right weird one for ya... a few weeks ago a friend of mine gave me the heads up that a small Irish business had begun manufacturing hand sanitiser, so I went onto the website and ordered a few bottles. After this, I thought to myself ‘well jeez, share the love Laura, /1
ESPECIALLY in these times of sanitiser-scarcity. So I posted to my IG story about the availability of the product and attached the link from where I had ordered. Got a few messages thanking me for the heads up, grand. 1,352 swiped up on the link, no idea how many ordered https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤷🏻‍♀️" title="Woman shrugging (light skin tone)" aria-label="Emoji: Woman shrugging (light skin tone)"> /2
Fast forward to this week and last, I receive a handful of DMs from unhappy customers; some dissatisfied with the packaging used, others with the delay in delivery. All DMing ME. How am I expected to navigate this?! I ordered as a normal customer just like everyone else /3
I didn’t even tag the brand because it makes me feel icky tagging companies. I simply shared what I felt was useful information for the greater good and tbqh it makes me want to cut back on what i share, lest I be held accountable for the business’ CS or lack of. Thoughts? /end
