A thread about how #ClapForOurCarers feels really hollow right now and how landlords continue to act like arseholes.

1. My dad, who’s an NHS worker, has just been evicted by his landlord because he’s scared of catching coronavirus from him.
2. His landlord is 67 so is cautious about catching #covid19. But he literally gave my dad one day’s notice this week to move out.
3. My Dad is luckily being put up in a Premier Inn by his hospital for the next 2 weeks. But has no microwave or fridge to use there.
4. He’s obviously worried about his himself and colleagues who *still* don’t have adequate PPE and who *still* aren’t being tested.

And now he has the added stress of not having stable housing for the next few months.
6. Anyway, point of this thread is to emphasise how the government + landlords continue to show NHS workers (& many others) the highest level of disregard.
