THREAD: What's the best position for Jadon Sancho , and which Premier League club should he join

Last season the smarterscout young prospect was mostly at RW for @BVB, and the results were – the kid was 19 years old!

This season Sancho's been lining up as more of a roving attacking midfielder for #BVB and he's been on fire again. His defending has even improved! Plus, that finishing skill has hit the stratosphere. All these numbers are converted to a Premier League standard!

The interesting part is that even though Sancho hasn't really lined up at LW a lot since 2017-18, he strays to the left whether he's playing as a RW or CAM. Here he is at both positions in the past two seasons – at CAM he's very mobile and gets into the left channel a lot:

Sancho's been taking shots from better positions this season, as you can see from the smartermaps in the last tweet, but his style has also changed: more link-up passing and less dribbling, as befits a player who's become more of a lynchpin for the entire #BVB attack:

Sancho is now tasked with weaving together the strands of the Dortmund attack, creating opportunities not just for himself but for others as well. In fact, while captain Marco Reus's assist rate has fallen this season, Sancho's has increased by about 25%!

In the PL, #ManUtd probably have the most need for a top-level winger/AM. Sancho should probably play RW, with Bruno AM, Martial LW, and Rashford CF. That fits, because despite his success across many metrics, Sancho's goal involvement has always been lower on the left!
