South Africans are not allowed to put themselves first in their own country.

The freedom charter states:  ''South Africa belongs to all who live in it"

I find this statement inherently problematic. South Africa belongs to South Africans, more specifically (in my opinion) Black South Africans. This statement actually disempowers Black South Africans.
I'm open to being corrected but as far as I know, there aren't any businesses/markets in South Africa that are strictly reserved for South Africans.
In Lesotho 🇱🇸 for instance, there are certain businesses such as tuck shops that are reserved only for locals.
In South Africa, no such legislature exists. Some people may say that South Africans don't want to run such businesses and feel like they're below them. That may be true however, if laws were put into place that only allowed South Africans we could prove/disprove that notion.
If there's enough food in a household to properly feed all the children in that house, they most probably wouldn't mind if their parents invited other people to come and eat with them. If however, the food isn't enough and yet the parents remain adamant to invite others...
To come and eat the already dwindling food, this would most likely create resentment in the children in the household for the guests.
I will concede that during apartheid many Black South Africans found exile in our neighbouring countries and other African countries further north in the continent. But those South Africans, were not competing with local businesses while they were there...
They mostly lived in refugee camps and were fed by some aid schemes. South Africa is expected to carry many other African countries' people, and you can see why this becomes a contributing factor to the resentment held towards our African neighbours.
Note I said neighbours and not brothers. There's a difference between a neighbour and a brother. My brother can come into my house, open my fridge and grab a drink and that wouldn't be seen as intrusion. A neighbour on the other hand cannot do that.
Our systems are already inefficient due to corruption, and the extra load of having to carry way more people just accentuates the problem. There are members from neighbouring countries that collect social grants in South Africa and return to their countries of origin each month.
The black majority need to own the means of production, we need anti-trust laws that break up the monopolies and oligopolies that are controlled by the minority. We need to put black South Africans first and purposely so. We also need to have niche markets that are only for us.
I'll also concede that, this thread did not cover a lot of contributing factors towards the situation many blacks are in such as corruption, a lack of patriotism, state capture etc but I hope that this can atleast spark a discussion about SA being for SAns.
