Reminiscing about better days. In 1995 my first flying job that wasn't flight instructing was flying cancelled checks and Airborne Express freight in this Cessna 402. Callsign was Pelican 112, and flew from EWN-PGV-RDU and back every night.
It paid $90 per night which, after being a CFI, I thought was the most money anybody could make. Ever. Didn't even know how I would spend that much! I took a pay cut when I went to the commuters.
