IRL it takes at least a couple minutes & effort to strangle even someone smaller than you.

This is a doctor who could have applied pressure to the carotid artery for four seconds, caught himself, backed away and let her come to in 30 seconds or less.

If you were ever a kid strangled/smothered by a grown person, you know the survival instinct kicks in strong.

Once your body starts to realize you can’t get anymore air your body goes into survival mode whether you want to or not.

She struggled in an unmistakeable way.
He’s going to claim he snapped. He didn’t snap.

Someone he believed was bound to obey him didn’t. He saw the girl as an adult because that’s how people see Black girls.

He attacked her like she was a wild animal or at best, grown man, because racism.
