Right. I'm trying to identify all the music used in The Young Ones. I have the PasB sheets here... but some of the music isn't listed.

So if anybody recognises anything in this thread, please let me know. I think it's going to be *very* obscure library stuff, in the main.
First up: the Nozin' Aroun' title music is a Brewis composition, as listed on the PasB.

But does anybody recognise the background music during the main sketch?
For some reason, Twitter is being a bastard and not uploading my videos, so YouTube links might be used from now on...
Next up: Rick's bedroom being turned into a roller disco in Oil. Anybody recognise the music?

(I think these ones are verging on the impossible.)
So, the music during the carrot and chip dancing is the Skater's Waltz.

But which particular recording? What is it likely that the BBC would use in 1982?
The Upstairs Downstairs parody. (Seven years after the programme ended on ITV. Cuh, The Young Ones, eh - The Voice Of Youth, flared trousers, etc.)

But... that isn't *quite* the right recording of the theme, is it? Where did they get this from?
I would call this sketch racist, but, erm, Khashoggi.

Anyway, anybody recognise the music?
More of this to come next week, by the way, as I carry on making my way through the episodes.
Back to trying to trace music in The Young Ones.

The King and Queen scene from 'Boring' is obviously Galop infernal. But which particular recording?

(I am fully aware that these "which *particular* recording?" questions are likely impossible to answer.)
The above video is now blocked, because I haven't added enough value to BBC Studios over the years obviously. But you know the scene I mean.
So, the music from Bastard Squad. Apparently, it's a KPM track. Surely someone clever will recognise this? https://twitter.com/ScaramangaJoe/status/1248628667934289921
And this thread has its first success! The Bastard Squad music is... https://twitter.com/ScaramangaJoe/status/1249730270904885259
So, here's another Young Ones music mystery - but from the other direction.

This piece of music is listed on the PasC sheet for 'Bomb'. I can't read it properly, nor can I find a piece of music in the episode it might be. Anyone have any ideas?
