My Mum and Dad live a five minute walk away. When I drop their shopping off sometimes I sit in their garden for ten minutes chatting to them while they sit inside their patio doors. We're about four metres apart. Last weekend I took a small bottle of wine and they had theirs 1/2

Tomorrow I thought we might do the same and I could drop off their Easter treats. But they're terrified we might be somehow 'breaking the rules' or that a neighbour might report them for having someone sitting in the garden, albeit 4 metres away. Thoughts?
