I've been watching the main UK news shows every evening and my impression is 🤨: When Italy reached the death toll of 800+ the UK reports about Italy were full of justifiable gravity. But reporting the same numbers in the UK don't seem to generate the same gravity? Am I wrong?
It's just an impression, but it seems to happen almost in passing. Sky News, ITV, BBC and C4 all similar to some degree?
And if my impression is shared, can anyone explain why this is?
