there& #39;s an app called slowly and it& #39;s basically the modern version of sending letters and actually waiting for them to be sent and to arrive. it takes hours and even days, depending on where the letter is coming from, for you to receive a letter. the pen-pal era all over again.

okay so i wasnt expecting this to blowup, but i see people in my mentions saying that why wouldnt we just write letters instead? the hardest part about having a penpal is finding a penpal, and this app basically eliminated that by matching you with someone that has the same -

- interests as you so that you& #39;d have topics to talk about. also, anonymity. some people don& #39;t want to write down their address to random people. plus, in this pandemic, not all postal offices around the globe are open. not everyone had access to stamps oo envelopes on the fly.
