And as folks know, most people who fear losing something will do almost anything to keep it. That’s the “cultural anxiety” operating here. Instead of realizing that making policies that center, for example, disabled people - policies that would likely benefit all of us ...

...they instead propose policies that ensure those that already have will continue to get more, and leave the rest of us - if we manage to get access to the very things that will keep folks alive - fighting over crumbs.
