Not sure where to begin with this ...

The reason I came back home to Poquoson when everything started to shutdown due to covid-19 was because my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in January. She’s been scheduled for surgery today since mid-February.

It seems like every day the hospital changes their policies about visitors. Three weeks ago it was one guest. Two weeks ago is was no one at any time.

She was scheduled for pre-op work yesterday, then on Wednesday they moved it to this morning.

I just dropped her off at the hospital, and now they are now allowing one person to be in the hospital with her so Herb (her partner) is with her. All I can do now is wait for his phone calls and texts with updates.

A preemptive Thank You to everyone for your support and prayers. I’ll post updates in this thread as I get them.
