the lack of empathy for current leaving cert students really is giving me no hope for these exams at all or the decision that will be made in regards to them. obviously the exams aren’t the country’s biggest problem right now but that doesn’t diminish the fact we’re still -

very much struggling with them. I just hope the government isn’t as ignorant to the problem as most of the sad grown men and women on this app are, arguing with teenagers on a “who had it worse” basis.

nothing like this has happened in the last 200 YEARS!!! how can ANYONE compare their experience with the leaving cert when we’re literally going through a global pandemic and a lockdown all while trying to teach ourselves our courses and revise at the same time??
