Think it's time we had a code of conduct for exercise hour, something to hep walkers, runners and dogs rub along, rather than against each other. Some suggestions follow (apologies for any piety in advance) 1/
1. Smile
2. If in doubt, stop.
3. That means you too, runners. This is not a time for PBs & splits
4. If you're with someone, go single-file. That means you too, walkers, And dogs - you take up space too.
5. Who swerves, wins. If someone makes the first move, go the other way 2/
6. Communicate. You can point which way you're going
7. Get off the path if you can. There's usually room.
8. If you're passing from behind, say so. Shout "passing on left/right" or whatever, louder than you think given everyone has earphones. No-one likes being startled. 3/
