Kanbe Daisuke, novel thread
So, I started reading fugou keiji novel and found out that daisuke’s cigar was ordered from Havana (Cuba), which cost him 8,500 yen per one cigar

Daisuke said he himself will approach the suspect in order to know where the money is hidden.

Kotsuka ask what if he was found. Then Sawatari said Daisuke would never be exposed bcs there’s no way a detective is riding a cadillac, smoking 8500yen cigar halfway, forget where he put his 100,000yen lighter and wearing tailored suit ordered from england even while raining.

Then, Daisuke and his father, Kanbe Kikuemon, talked about his current job and his father started to talk about his past and how he made money by committing many bad things and hurt many people and even some were dead, and up to now, his feeling of guilt is becoming worse.

His father said Daisuke is a good son, complimenting him on being a detective who fights for justice. He is very supportive of Daisuke’s job and say that it’s okay for him use all of Kanbe’s wealth for the job, as it could be the way to wash away his father’s sin in the past.

Daisuke invited one of the suspect named Hatano to his mansion. The Kanbe’s mansion is described as a German-Rococo-style-mansion in the fugou keiji novel. Hatano said that this mansion is like the palace of versailles.

Hatano asked Daisuke who he’s been living with in this mansion besides his father, he answered that there’s a secretary, maids, and a buttler (shitsuji). Hatano misheard it and asked “So you are raising sheep (hitsuji)?” Lmao. Then daisuke said it’s not sheep, but butler.

So, when the oden shop owner said that rich people dont know that cheap sake tastes good, daisuke’s face is red and he said that he knows that much, and then he pouted why daisuke so cute(*´ω`*)

After eating so much at the shop, daisuke realized that he forgot to bring his wallet. He wanted to use credit card to pay but the shop owner says they dont accept it. Then Daisuke said he will pay using check and the owner is angry at him, saying that he is mocking the poor.

After Suda (one of the suspect) paid for Daisuke, Daisuke go inside his car and he found a paperbag. He just realized that today is payday and that paperbag contains his salary. He put it on passenger seat and completely forgot about it.

So far in the fugou keiji novel, the inside of kanbe family’s mansion consists of a shooting range, a tworkshop, a billiards room with home bar inside. And they also use elevator inside. Daisuke is so rich omg

Daisuke told his father that he wanted to held a dance party at Kanbe’s mansion. His father agreed and instructed the secretary to invite the people who do businesses with him and people from bank sector, as well as some chairmans, ministers, and foreigners.

He also invited 30-40 famous actresses. His father plan to invite Philharmonia Orchestra from London but Daisuke is against it as he said it’s too much and so,they decided to invite Paul Mauriat instead.(Sorry i’m not so familiar with orchestra so idk how to translate in details)

And for the foods, they invited 7-8 chefs from France. They invited magician for entertainment and also decided to make a circus show on their garden. We could see how grand the dance party gonna be lol Daisuke’s father said that unless they plan this much, it’s not his party lol

I never knew that Kanbe Daisuke is quite a funny guy. So after the case was closed, daisuke and the secretary are having a small congratulation party. Then she started to cry as she recalled what she had to do in order to help daisuke find the culprit. And she said she did all—
