Paramedics in #NYC are usually called to attend about 20-25 persons who died at home every day. This month, they are picking up 225 bodies/day! Everyone is #DNR. People don't go to the hospital, don't get treated, or tested, so they don't get recorded as #Covid19 fatalities.

Paramedics would normally attempt to #resuscitate anyone who hadn't been dead for long, but now they are under orders not to attempt resuscitation for anyone, because the hospitals can't take them in and put them on a vent anyway. I have a friend who is an ICU nurse, who told me the tests they are getting don't work. She had a 20 yr old with no co-morbidity dying on a vent, he tested negative twice, but when they did a bronchoscopy and actually tested his lung tissue, yeah, he was positive for #Covid19.
