Good Friday: A (Must-Read) Thread
All good things do not come that easily. Behind each and every one of them lies a long process, a journey โ€” a journey that involves pain, suffering, sacrifice, and most of all, love, patience, dedication, perseverance, and compassion.
Now, let us all relate the first tweet of this thread to what Jesus has done for all of us. He knew what was coming, and yes, He was afraid of what was about to unfold, yet He went through all those harsh and unfair punishments He never deserved simply for our salvation.
He was unfairly judged, harshly scourged, mockingly crowned with thorns, and painfully crucified. He underwent all those to complete the will of His Almighty Father, to save all of us from the sins we have committed against Him, against others, and against ourselves.
He did all of those out of unconditional love for us. Simple as that. He carried, not just a cross to Golgotha, but all the sins and wickedness of each and every one of us, in order to ask for forgiveness for us from His Almighty Father as He looked at the heavens above.
If you are suffering right now, relate your hardships you are currently facing with the ones our Lord has faced. Remember that because of Jesusโ€™ sufferings, we are saved and that you will earn something worthwhile soon โ€” you only need trust, faith, and action.
Let us all sincerely reflect on what we have done in our lives and wholeheartedly repent, not only this Lenten Season, but also in our everyday lives. Let the Crucifix remind us that we are saved through His love and that we are to fulfill our missions through our love for Him.
Let us see ECQ not as an obstacle to our plans but a fulfillment of His better plans for us. We are given this chance to have a full recollection of what our lives have become. Instead of complaining, pray and humble yourself before God. Remember, everything happens for a reason.
Lastly, let us reflect on what John 3:16 says. :

โ€œFor God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.โ€
