If there’s one thing liberalism is good at it’s performing innocence.

It’s revealing how little agency is ever given to the Global South. It’s either US or Chinese hegemony, nothing else is even imaginable for some. Yet there is so much debate about and resistance against both in so many places, where people are imagining something beyond.
