So I know that there’s probably a fair few of you who would probably be going to church this Easter weekend, but sadly can’t. So instead, I’ve decided to bring the churches to you.

This is St. Andrew’s, at Oddington. It’s only little, but it’s a very handsome church indeed.
This big, beautiful old girl is St. Mary the Virgin at Charlton-on-Otmoor. She is very pretty indeed.
This tiny and unassuming brick church at Murcott doesn’t seem to have a name, but she’s got a crucifix tattoo on her bum, so she’s doing her bit in her own way.
This very fine boi is St. Barnabus, at Horton-cum-Studley. The flowers in the churchyard are a very nice touch indeed. Would recommend.
And this big old bruiser is St. John the Baptist, in Stanton St. John. As local churches go, he’s an #AbsoluteUnit, and I imagine he’d probably drink ale in a pint pot 🍺 at the local on a Sunday afternoon like a ruddy bloody bloke, if he wasn’t already busy with being a church.
Morning all. This is St. Mary the Virgin at Hampton Poyle. A small church, but she’s very eastery with all the baby sheeps. Excellent effort.
And this is her sister church, also St. Mary the Virgin at Kidlington. She’s very pointy.
Off the beaten track a bit, this is St. Giles, at Bletchingdon. Not the tallest, but frankly he’s got it where it counts. Keep on keeping on, stout chap.
This is St. Mary’s, at Weston-on-the-Green. A very fine old girl. A definite ten-on-the-scoresheet.
This is St. Mary the Virgin, at Kirtlington. She has a very fancy clock.
And hidden away beside the canal, this little beauty is Holy Cross, of Shipton-on-Cherwell & Thrupp. Just lovely.
This isn’t a church, but it’s where plenty of people would otherwise be happily spending part of their bank holiday weekend. It’s the wonderful garden centre - literally, it’s in someone’s garden - at Bunkers Hill. The phone box is a nice touch.
