For those of you who are well-versed in Bible knowledge, remember the importance of Luke 4:12. (No, I am not just throwing out scripture. There is an analogy to be made here.) https://twitter.com/Cinnawren/status/1248525272393175045">https://twitter.com/Cinnawren...

If this sounds like a thinly-veiled expression of religious contempt, it& #39;s NOT. @Cinnawren is correct, and, to be less subtle, Luke 4:12 is about the testing of God. (Or rather, in a less-religious sense, tempting fate)
In short, do not try to test your hand at fate by going to church because of allegiance to God/Jesus, because you more than likely WILL catch COVID-19.
And, finally, for a better analogy, don& #39;t try to jump off a cliff expecting God to catch you. That& #39;s just stupidity, not loyalty to Him.
As I was composing this thread, I really could not stop thinking about this idiotic parishoner who decided it was a good idea to go to church just because "the blood of Jesus was protecting her". https://twitter.com/melreynoldsU/status/1246791017464029186?s=19">https://twitter.com/melreynol...
