🧵 The EFL now face a massive challenge to look after its clubs and ensure none of them go bust.

They have lost the first battle by negotiating with the EPL providing ÂŁ125 million to its member club.

On the outside this looks a good gesture, however this is only an advance...
...on the money form next season.
Then the EFL write to the clubs yesterday informing the, they they are going to hold onto this money because they fear clubs will spend this to quickly.

I find it an amazing stance considering clubs could go out of business.
We have all known that clubs, especially in the Championship spend more money than they get coming in to achieve the dream of entering the promised land which is the EPL.

But other clubs such as Charlton, Luton and Millwall have to spend silly money for them in just staying
.... in the league and Millwall have already furloughed their first team with many to follow.

Our very fabric of our unique league structure is under threat and everyone needs to work together.

Fans will not be able to afford season tickets at their current prices...
...or spend cash on merchandise and less money to pay for catering at the ground.

Sponsors will reduce or they will not be able to pay the money they have previously.

The PFA are looking after their members, however they may have less the represent in future.
