So the last job of my night shift was a cardiac arrest. Despite being non C19 related, we still have to wear full PPE just in case.
ALS and CPR in a plasticised suit, with mask, eye pro and face shield isn’t pleasant, and I’m used to working in PPE.
Home now. Time for bed.
Thanks folks. Im lucky in that the team I’m with are well supplied and we are used to wearing all sorts of heavy kit. My thoughts are with my colleagues who are busier than me and not massively experienced with PPE. It’s bad out there and I take my hat off to them.
Just to give you the heads up guys n girls, the ‘Anders’ account that’s commented on this thread is worth a hard block. It’s a sock puppet for a Neo Nazi that stalks me and @Paramedic_Sky through various threads. Absolute loon that’s worth avoiding.
