One of the challenges I found this week was needing to increase volume. It’s amazing how many of us lip-read.
There’s something about breathing from lower in body - talking from the belly, not the chest that I’ve tried to work on over time.
Which is hard to do if you personally are feeling a bit adrenalised and are naturally chest breathing. A good belly breath or two has helped me this week.
Hard to speak loudly and clearly, without “shouting” - which I’ve often found scares people and changes conversation.
I saw someone on here recently talking about “channeling their inner Brian Blessed”!
