Section 10 of govt guidelines for small business funding help states: “The person who according to the billing authority’s records was the ratepayer in respect of the hereditament on 11th March 2020”. The attachment confirms the term "Hereditament" according to statute.
Why have @CharnwoodBC refused to pay perfectly legitimate #businesses when those such businesses categorically fall within the specific govt guidelines? We have a 25-year lease on our property & significant amounts of money have already been spent for restoration works to create
a modern & sophisticated retail outlet in a run-down area. We have deemed @CharnwoodBC as an incompetent council who have absolutely no idea of what it is that they must do to maintain good relations with their business community.
This is a totally disgusting response we have received from them but it will not go unchallenged. It is disgusting that @CharnwoodBC is creating more unnecessary stress & inconvenience for businesses when those businesses have been forced into closure through no fault of their
own. This is our building and the link will take you to the works that have been ongoing: http://www.leicesterandleicester.co.uk/portfolio-details/commercial/2935-nottingham-road-loughborough
@BorisJohnson @RishiSunak @JaneMHunt Please make adequate comment on this deplorable response that businesses within the borough of #Charnwood have received from @CharnwoodBC It cannot be accepted by any rational-minded business.
