House of Reps Speaker, Femi Gbaja, asked Minister of Health about the “hazard allowance” for doctors, nurses and health workers at the front line at risk of getting Coronavirus.

Minister said “I don’t know” “I’m not aware”

“They are doing a standard job”

We are sending doctors, nurses and health workers to face a virus that has no cure and you “don’t know” if there’s any hazard allowance for them?

This is insanity and complete bullshit.

Even Femi Gbaja could not believe the utter bullshit coming from the health minister. This is total madness.

Hazard pay for any doctor or nurse who catches Coronavirus is currently 5,000 naira. And that’s why the shameless minister couldn’t say it.

This is completely insane.

Whereas in Ghana:
1) *NO taxation* on salaries of health workers for the next 3months (Apr-Jun)
2) 50% increase in salary for all frontline health workers
3) 350,000 cedis (22 million naira) *Insurance package* for all frontline health workers.

Who cursed us in Nigeria? Pls who?
