She travelled to Nellore in Andhra Pradesh where her son was. Her son Nizammudin, who is preparing for medical entrance at the Narayana Institute in Hyderabad, had travelled to Nellore with a friend after the latter’s father was not keeping well.

Right then the lockdown was announced and he was stuck in Nellore. She took matters into her own hands and took permission from the police to get her son home.

"It was a difficult journey on a small two-wheeler for a woman. But the determination to bring my son back overtook all my fears. I packed rotis and they kept me going. It was fearsome in the nights with no traffic movement and people on roads," she told PTI.
She is a single mother of two sons, as her husband had passed away earlier.
