So, I’m going to say something about Kanye West. No matter what it is people are going to have an opinion on it so before you get ready to crucify me please remember that I am also a person who enjoys a good deal of Kanye’s work. Okay? Okay. Here goes.

Not on is Use This Gospel the worst song I’ve heard from Kanye West but it’s in the running for one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard from over 10,000 albums in my life. I can’t even imagine a 2005-era Kanye (arguably his height as a producer) listening to himself make this. (2)

Just a pure fucking embarrassment of a song attempting half-assed potshots at minimalist production (which Kanye can and HAS done well) but a waste of an incredibly desired reunion feature. That’s not even to speak of the absolute lack of any sense of cohesion (3)

sonically or thematically. The idea of Kanye fucking West using a Kenny G solo is laughable enough but the fact that his track just stops... and then this misplaced solo just kinda comes in and then it’s over... I mean, fuck’s sake. What an atrocious song. It’s funny because (4)

You listen to it, and I mean really listen, and then put on yer New Dress, Diamonds Remix, whatever you fancy... it’s just frankly embarsssing. I can’t say I’m excited at all for Kanye’s future which is a shame because god he means a good bit to me. (5)
