1. So it's hard to deny now that I have somehow contracted #COVIDー19 despite being super super careful. I'm going to keep this thread pinned so people can see a blow by blow account of what it's like.
2. Let's get one thing out of the way. I have not been tested. My current symptoms are mild and include shortness of breath and low fever.

This is Covid enough for me to self diagnose in a public forum. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong and I'll admit so if I ultimately test negative.
3. I'll give you a timeline of events and detailed analysis of my stools, as well as info on what measures I'm taking to fight this off.

(I'm not really going to detail my stools... )
4. It started about a week ago. i'd had a headache for some days, but my nose started to feel really odd. Dry and clear.
I was not, and not become anosmic but it wasn't like allergies or a cold it was... different.
5. By Tuesday, my chest also felt 'tight'. The regime started.
Breathing exercise. Check.
Vitamin D. check.
Ginger and Turmeric tea, similar flavoured soups. Zinc, in the form of vegimite, vitamin C in the form of oranges.

My routines remained unchanged, I felt fine.
6. Wednesday. Felt better.
My headache, which was never that bad anyway lessened. My chest still felt tight but had not worsened. There was a tickle though.

Nobody seems to think I'm ill. I'm up and about, chatty.
7. Thursday.
Headache comes and goes but the pressure in my chest is now unpleasant if not painful exactly. I feel warm from time to time. Warm relieves the chest discomfort but brings back the headache.
There is a cough a small one.
8. But that brings anxiety. Up to this point, I feel like I'm on the first day of a cold, which is to say, not all that ill. It is the thought of it progressing that bothers me.
Thursday night I sleep less than an hour.
My breathing is bad, not dreadful, but def compromised
9. Friday (today) I'm lying in bed, I do not feel that unwell. Breathing is laboured, hard to tell how I feel through the fatigue. Mild Covid isn't supposed to be this mild. I wonder if virus load is a factor here?
Worse to come? I expect so, but we'll see.
10. Still Friday.

Slept, at last. Feel so much better for it. temp 36.4 (I run a little cool as a rule, so this is baseline for me)

Friend popped round with a humidifier, it's on, breathing is OK but the headache is back. I still have an appetite.
11. Stil Friday. I slept all day, I usually struggle with insomnia so this is unheard of.

Temperature normal, appetite, normal. Mild headache. Chest feels better, breathing easy again.
Made a salad, drank a tea made from fresh ginger Turmeric and lemon.
Breathing exercises.
12. Saturday.
Felt a bit better all of last evening but there is always the nagging feeling that this virus is trying to trick you.

Breathing exercises are a must. The damage it does to your lungs... I've been teetering on the edge of a chest infection and with Covid, that...
13. Leads to Pneumonia and...
Slept well, very slight fever on and off. Woke up quite wheezy, did breathing exercise which helped, slept more.

Diet is an endless parade of fruit, tea, salads and soup. Nutrition the hell out of this thing if you get it.
14. Carrot and Turmeric soup for dinner tonight. My appetite is good. That is a blessing. Getting up now.
15. Saturday late afternoon.

The headache is persistent but manageable. I'm running 'warm for me' but not feverish and it may be because my room is humid. Breathing exercises clear the chest but the fuzz creeps back in. More tea, vapor rub, paracetamol, fruit.

I can do this.
Saturday early evening.

Headache will not go away but hot tea and baths help. Humidifier on full, breathing exercises 6x a day. Temperature is now universally normal although that may change later tonight.
Breathing is much better.
Fever came back from nowhere as it does. Went away before 12am but shortly after that I have shortness of breath again. Did breathing exercise, did not help much.

i'm OK, but this thing sucks man.
I appear to be adding these out of order, give me a break y'all. I am i'll.
16. I guess?

I now have mild diarrhea.

This virus is weird.
