Relatedly, it annoys me that there aren't any effectively lawless, no border controls, type places on Earth to flee to, places where you might starve or be mugged but the government won't arrest you for stuff

Basically if I can't live on Coruscant I wanna live on Nar Shadaa

Anyway admittedly Trek canon also implies at this stage that there are places outside any of the major governments you can go to if you charter a ship, but I also just don't want to live in a world where I have to make sense of transporters. The Force is WAY easier to deal with
